Vana Lab x Techedify

Build with AI:
Vibe Coding Summer Studio

July 27-31, 2026 | Grades 8-12 | No Experience Required

The role of the teacher is to create the conditions for invention rather than provide ready-made knowledge.

– Seymour Papert, MIT Mathematician and Researcher

In five days, students use AI-supported coding tools to build games, apps, and digital projects — while practicing the creativity, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and persistence skills that help them succeed far beyond coding.

Offered by Vana Lab in collaboration with Techedify and powered by Codebox — the proprietary K–12 vibe coding platform trusted by California’s largest school districts.

Why Vibe Coding, Why now

Vibe coding isn’t just for future engineers. It’s for future everything.

In a few years, the marketing manager who can vibe code their own landing page, the lawyer who can build a tool to analyze contracts, the doctor who can prototype a patient intake app, the founder who can ship an MVP in a weekend — they’ll be the ones pulling ahead.

This program is not training students to become tech workers. It is helping them learn to use AI as fluently in any career as their generation already uses search, video, and social media.

Your student will not just learn what AI can produce. They will learn how to guide it, question it, improve it, and use it to bring their own ideas to life.

The Five-Day Journey

No coding experience? Perfect.

This program takes your student from writing no code to building something they can show the world immediately.

Day 1 — Idea to Prompt
Students choose a project they care about and learn how to turn an idea into
clear AI instructions.

Day 2 — Build Your First Game
Students vibe code their own version of a classic game — Snake, Pong, or a simple arcade title — and learn how AI-assisted coding really works.

Day 3 — Level Up to 3D and Multiplayer
Students push further — multiplayer mechanics, 3D environments, custom features. This is the day most students realize they’re capable of way more than they thought.

Day 4 — From Games to Real Apps
Students apply what they’ve learned to build a real working app with a database — the kind of project an entry-level developer might be asked to build at a startup. Polish, personalize, and prepare to ship.

Day 5 — Demo Day
Students present their final project. Each student leaves with a real, shareable project they can show family, teachers, and college admissions counselors alike.

What Your Student Walks Away With

  • A real, deployable project they can share with a link  — no app store waiting
  • A Techedify LXP account that follows them after the program ends, so they can keep building
  • Hands-on experience with Codebox — a proprietary vibe coding environment designed exclusively for K-12 students
  • CITE-approved AI tools (California IT in Education) — built and vetted for under-18 learners
  • An AI tutor available throughout the week — instant help when they’re stuck, even outside program hours
  • A parent progress dashboard — see what your student is building and what they’ve learned
  • Skills that outlast any tool — creativity, problem-solving, communication, persistence, and the confidence to start something from scratch.
